LeftSpineDown.com is now LIVE! Check it out and hype it up!

Now the contest is easy…. All you need to be is CREATIVE and get “LeftSpineDown.com” out there to the masses! Just record what you do. You can hit up forums and craigslist/myspace/facebook telling people to check out the site….email us some screenshots. You can spray paint the words on your body and run around the city half naked……email us some photos. You can shave the URL into your head….send photos. You can deck out in all your LSD gear and run around downtown with a ghettoblaster in your hand converting the masses. Get the drift?

Just be creative and have fun and try not to get arrested! (if you do get arrested you can provide photos and court documents and that will count in the contest….and you will probably be a winner)

The top 3 most creative entries will win a “LSD Deluxe Prize Package” featuring a signed copy of the European DOUBLE Album release “Fighting for Voltage: Deluxe Edition”, a LSD t-shirt plus some LSD stickers, pins and pens.

ALSO if you want to get on the LSD top friend list……..it’s SIMPLE. Just post up a photo of yourself wearing some LSD gear or holding a CD or artwork you created and make it your default photo on myspace….also make LSD one of your top friends….Then send a message to our account and we will add you in to our top list!

The LSD cover of the Joy Division track “SHE’S LOST CONTROL” debuted last week on the German DAC Singles Chart. See Chart clip below and also the artwork for the Single. To celebrate we have uploaded the track to our myspace, last.fm and vampirefreaks pages so enjoy and share the links with your friends!

Left Spine Down’s debut album to be Re-Pressed in Canada!

The initial 2000 unit Canadian Digipack pressing of FIGHTING FOR VOLTAGE is nearly a complete sell out! The band has 60 units with them on the road and LSD HQ has another 50 units. The CD is being Re-Pressed as a jewel case release and being distributed nationally by Sonic Unyon on behalf of Synthetic Sounds.

We have put the new and old editions on our merch site so if you’re a collector now’s your time to snag one of the remaining limited edition Digipak’s or get it for a X-Mas gift for someone. Once they are gone they are gone forever! Keep your eyes open for the new CD to hit HMV, CD Plus, Flaming Angels and all the usual retailers you can find LSD CD’s at in Canada over the coming weeks!

Double Album in Europe releases on Friday October 16, 2009!

Vancouver, Canada based Cyberpunk band LEFT SPINE DOWN starts their assault on Europe Friday October 16, 2009 as FIGHTING FOR VOLTAGE: DELUXE EDITIONmakes its debut across the continent via Danse Macabre Records!….

The 2-Disc Deluxe Edition features 2008’s debut album “Fighting for Voltage” combined with 2009’s critically acclaimed remix album “Voltage 2.3: Remixed and Revisited”. The latter received an unheard of 9 out of 10 (for a remix record) from Outburn Magazine with writer Joseph Graham boldly declaring the band the “Future of Industrial” and “one of the most exciting industrial rock/metal bands to surface in the last five years”. Just some of the remixes included come from Combichrist, KMFDM, Tim Skold, 16Volt, Download, Seb Komor, XP8, DJ? Acucrack PLUS a cover of an LSD track by no other than The Birthday Massacre!

So get yourself out to your local record store and ask them to make sure they have copies coming in if they don’t already!
